Archives & Special Collections

The library collects, organizes, preserves and makes available information donated by college departments, students, alumni and other members of the college community.  The archival holdings include a variety of formats such as correspondence, meeting minutes, photographs,  yearbooks, rare books, pamphlets, publications, newspapers, architectural drawings, memorabilia, audio/visual recordings, and other ephemera.

The Archives room is located on the first floor of the Library. Service is available from  10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The Archives is a "closed" collection and items may be requested for retrieval at the Circulation Desk.  Items from the Archives may only be used within the library for a maximum of two hours.

The Library is currently working to organize and catalog its Archival holdings so they are searchable in the Library online catalog.  Additionally, some of the collections will be digitized and made available through the library homepage.

The Archives continues to welcome gifts in order to enhance the research value of our archival holdings. If you are interested in donating to the Archives, please contact the Library Staff.
