Mission of Institutional Advancement

The Office of Institutional Research is a unit under the division of Institutional Advancement that reports directly to the Vice President of Institutional Advancement. Its mission is four-fold:

  • To collect, organize, maintain, analyze and report institutional data to support the College's executive management, operations, decision-making, and planning functions;
  • To provide official College data and information to governmental agencies and other external agencies for compliance purposes;
  • To support development of the College's administrative and information systems, working to insure data integrity; and
  • To provide data and information to help evaluate and assess institutional resources and programs.
Further, a fundamental value shared by the Office and the College is that a high degree of incorporation among planning, assessment and institutional research is essential for the College to maintain excellence in teaching, research and public service to meet our commitment in taking Livingstone College to the Next Level.
