Community Services Mission
COMMUNITY SERVICES MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of the Community Services Department is to identify activities for civic engagement where students are linked to community organizations in order to develop the ethic of service.
These opportunities are designed to encourage Livingstone students to recognize the social needs of society, develop a philosophy of life, and to become better equipped to address the problems of society.
All students must perform a total of eighty hours of community service in order to graduate. Some of the agencies that we’ve formed partnerships with are below:
- Big Brothers/Big Sisters
- March of Dimes
- Rowan Helping Ministries
- Rowan-Salisbury School System
- Relay For Life (American Cancer Society)
- Meals On Wheels
