I have been with Livingstone College for the past sixteen years. I have over 20 years teaching experience in the U.S. and 10 years teaching experience in India Law schools. I have Ph.D. degree in Law and Tax Accounting, L.L.M in Taxation, L.L.M. in Constitutional Law, L.L.B. (J.D.), M.B. A. degree, and B.A. degree in Economics. I serve as faculty advisor to the LC-Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) Team, Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, and National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). I wrote several grants which funded the Math, Science, and Engineering Improvement Program (MSEIP). I am currently working on research based on Impact of Capital Gains Tax Rates Changes on Investment and Employment in the U.S.

I was previously employed by Barber Scotia College for 38 years (1967-2005) as faculty member in Accounting and Business areas. Also during that time, I served as part-time college accountant and Coordinator of the Voluntary Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program. I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Business. I also serve as Co-advisor to the VITA program and National Association of Black Accountants (NABA). I enjoy teaching and strongly feel it is a privilege.
