Harry Alston, Jr., Ph.D. has over twenty years of experience in some of this country’s key industries including management consulting, financial services, telecommunications and manufacturing. Dr. Alston completed his Ph.D. in Leadership and Change at Antioch University where his emphasis was on leadership for community development. He earned a Bachelor of Industrial Administration degree from General Motors Institute of Technology (marketing and organizational behavior) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University (Fellowship Award - Consortium for Graduate Study in Management). He is also a certified Master Facilitator & Trainer (New Work Habits For A Radically Changing World”, Pritchett & Associates); certified Facilitator & Trainer (Lead Diversity Program, First Card Corporation). Dr. Alston is actively involved in community and civic organizations. His areas of research interest include: Community Revitalization, African American Leadership, Social and Economic Justice. I started working at Livingstone College in Fall 2010. I have been teaching since 2003. I have a doctorate in Finance (DBA), MBA, MS in Finance, MS in Computer Science and B.S. in Computer Science. I am on the Business Advisory Board of the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) team and am responsible for developing the Entrepreneurship Certificate program at Livingstone College.

I am an Instructor in the Business Division at Livingstone College. I am in my seventh year teaching, with 6 of those years teaching at Livingstone. I am currently teaching 100 and 200 level Business Administration courses, as I complete my Doctoral degree in Business Administration. My research background is on ethics in the Business Administration curriculum.

Curtis Dean is a graduate of Livingstone College where he received his BS degree in Business Administration. His MBA was obtained from The University of Phoenix. And now in his doctoral program at Walden University where he will graduate in the fall of 2012 with a DBA.
