Academic Support Centers

The Academic Support Centers encompass three tutoring centers, the QEP Reading Center, Writing Center, and Math & Science Center, as well as the Supplemental Instruction initiative. The Academic Support Centers provide one-on-one and small- group tutoring, plus in-class academic workshops and out-of-class workshops on academic and professional skills. For students, during the academic year, we offer tutoring from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays. Workshops are scheduled weekly throughout the fall and spring semesters. For faculty and staff, the Academic Support team visits classrooms to give presentations on learning skills and specific subject areas. Academic Support Centers professional staff and tutors also support academic enrichment efforts across the campus. The Academic Support Centers are housed on the second floor of Dodge Hall.
